I was trying to avoid that since it is not supported with security updates but they will just have to search for updated software sooner than later. I reloaded Win 7 64 and put XP mode on it for now and the software runs. there were significant changes after XP so it's not surprising. There is something that is in a native install of XP and prior that it likes that I don't understand and really don't have the time to dig into. I then moved it backwards to a Vista 32 install and it also failed with the same Runtime error. Which I believe is caused by the Clarion compiler that the coder must have used. When on a 32 machine it would give a Runtime Error -Internal Error 01: WSLKEYB.

In 64 it would have a common windows error saying to check for compatibility. There was a difference between 64 and 32. I tried everything from Dosbox and setting compatibility modes to installing Win 7 32. This time I moved to a Win 7 64 laptop and no go.

We moved it from another Win Xp machine years back and before that from a Win 2000 box. It just sits in a folder on the c: drive and runs from there. This little program has cost me lots of time! Ok, this is a program called Ordertrak and its used for ordering dental supplies.
